Sr. Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates, take-off, BOQ, Cost Comparative Assessment, Monthly Statement (Contractor's Interim Payment Application) and Variations.

Interpret contracts/subcontract conditions, plans, drawings, schedules, and specifications.

Assessment of payment applications for subcontractors/vendors, including variations.

Coordinates with other departments (Construction, QA/QC, HSSE, Planning, Cost Control, Finance, etc.)

Attend meetings if required.

Visit the Site to check actual work done and progress.

Other tasks related to Quantity Surveying.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (must have a valid professional engineer's license in the Philippines)

Previous work experience in Quantity Surveying (infrastructure, rail, buildings, and civil projects) and construction

English proficiency professional level (both speaking and writing)

Proficiency in using Windows OS, Adobe PDF, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook, and MS Teams.

Must know and have experience in preparing DUPA, BOQ, Variations, estimates, IPC/IPA, Vendor & Subcontractor Cost & Billing Assessments, comparative of costs, and take-off

Can interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and contracts.

Advantage if the candidate has previous experience in preparing Prolongation Costs Claims.
