Role Overview:
PIC - Philippines, a Genus company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Sr. Finance Analyst to lead the management reporting of the business unit. The primary responsibility is to provide insightful business reporting and analysis that Management is able to use for strategic and operational decisions. This is an exciting career opportunity as the organization undertakes MS D365 implementation to enable business and operating change and improvement. The position reports to the Asia Sr. FP& A Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead management reporting of the business unit by implementing reporting process under new ERP system, consolidating large datasets into meaningful and understandable summaries published as monthly reports, dashboards, and business review presentations with commentaries on P&L, sales, and cash flow. These analyze the business results against budgets, forecasts, and same period last year
Work closely with the accounting shared services team, supporting month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial results
Present financials in business reviews
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and flash updates
Support strategic planning
Assist management and operations team in data-driven analysis across the business using financial reporting tools, data analytics platform, and business knowledge
Create financial models that analyze data for decision-support in CAPEX and genetics investments
Assist in other ad hoc financial analysis required by the businessRequirements:
Basic Qualifications: (required)
University degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics;
5-7 years of experience in financial planning & analysis directly supporting operations
Advanced Microsoft Excel with the ability to work with large spreadsheets and datasets;
Advanced skills in data analysis using finance tools, spreadsheets, apps and platforms under Microsoft
Proficient in building professional, clear, and balanced presentations using PowerPoint or similar app
Analytical and has a good thought process
Detail-oriented with the ability to work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Can work both autonomously and collaborate across teams and functional areas
Articulate with above average verbal and written communication skills
Amenable to be in a hybrid work set-up (2 days work-from-home and 3 days onsite per week) with some flexibility in time zones for tasks scheduled in US work hours.
Authorized to work in the Philippines without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CMA preferred
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system and Power BI preferred
