Position Summary:
This role is part of the Finance Data and Systems Team within the Finance Department. The Sr./Finance Business Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and leading subprocesses and technology improvement initiatives aimed at continuous improvement. This role will work closely with Finance resources and cross-functional teams from global business units and IT to execute finance transformation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, document, and integrate business requirements from multiple global stakeholders and process owners.
- Educate and learn from team members about various business processes and tools. Aim to become a subject matter expert and core super user for your initiatives
- Document comprehensive requirements and key processes, including current state, business change impacts, trainings, and cut-over
- Conduct business requirements reviews, coordinate testing, and prepare test scripts
- Work hands-on in systems to analyze and document issues
- Track and maintain meeting attendance, recordings, and minutes
- Schedule workshops and assist project managers by documenting RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) items, capturing key design decisions, developing gap/fit analyses, and maintaining requirements traceability matrices
- Document and manage testing and obtain approvals for system changes
- Provide input for the development and review of testing and training materials and their delivery
- Partner with change management to ensure messages are consistent and clear
- Partner with teams in business units, regions, and functions to create and implement solutions across current and future business systems with a focus on finance-related processes
- Contribute to project deliverables on an ad hoc basis
- Create, run, and analyze financial reports
- Prepare and input financial information and data into systems, templates, and structured workbooks, ensuring accuracy and consistency for reporting and various analytics use cases
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a business analyst with knowledge of accounting and finance best practices. Experience in finance transformation projects is essential.

- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Effective in managing cross-functional team discussions
- Highly organized, motivated, and a driven self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
- Experience with Workday is a plus
- Strong financial, analytical, and data proficiency abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
