Job Summary
Engineer, IT Systems, Kronos
Foundever is seeking a motivated HRIS Engineer, IT Systems, Kronos who will be responsible for systems analysis and implementation under the banner of HRIS process and change management for the purposes of providing excellence in the delivery of the HRIS agenda.
- This role requires a good level of spoken and written English.
- Excellent functional knowledge of UKG Kronos is essential for this role.
- This role can be remote.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Solution Design:
- Work with HR to translate business requirements into system configuration.
- Perform data analysis in support of management or customer requests.
- Develop detailed designs based on documented requirements of product services and enhancements.
- Partner with the Reporting Analytics teams to apply data analysis tools to develop insights into business outcomes and the drivers of such outcomes.
- Systems Delivery:
- Perform some pre-determined technical configuration with guidance from product managers / SMEs.
- Consistent and reliable delivery / execution of activities to defined services levels, schedules and budget.
- Change Management (Projects):
- Define delivery schedules and ensure execution to plan for assigned deliverables.
- Lead small scale internal projects through the full project lifecycle as necessary.
- Direct requirements gathering with customers as requested by leadership.
- Support client relationships by working with HRIS resources and business owners to provide client product updates, presentations and demos.
- Training and Documentation:
- Create and maintain live documents through the project lifecycle as necessary.
- Define and document test strategies and cases.
- Create appropriate end user training materials and provides detailed solution training and delivery for the purposes of testing and orientation.
- Writes testable, performant code with unit test and documents the features and approaches.
- Support:
- Respond to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response.
- Manage external UKG Kronos product documentation such as service guides, user guides and other collateral.
- Ensure suitable Disaster Recovery plans are created and maintained.
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience of working with UKG Kronos, Boomi Integration, and servers are essential. 5+ years IT experience working in a Corporate HR or HRIS organization with systems focus
- 3+ years IT experience with UKG Kronos on premise and/or cloud applications
- 2+ years IT experience working with UKG Kronos Workforce Central
- Experience using Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Proven experience of working within project structures and matrix management arrangements.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge And Skills
- Sound corporate HR process knowledge.
- HR systems management and configuration exposure, UKG Kronos product knowledge preferable.
- Strong analytical and project solving.
- Solution design, requirements analysis and documentation.
- Highly customer focused with strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple organizational levels.
- Ability to consult and work collaboratively with field management to get buy-in and accomplish objectives. Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities
