Job overview:
Convey is looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer who will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing robust infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms, with a primary focus on AWS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure using Iac tools like Terraform, or CloudFormation to ensure reliable and scalable AWS environments.
- Lead the establishment and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated and efficient software delivery with a focus on AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Demonstrate deep understanding and hands on experience with a wide range of AWS Services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and CloudWatch, To architect and manage robust cloud solutions.
- Implement and enhance security measures and compliance standards within AWS environments including knowledge of IAM, VPC, encryption mechanisms, and proactive approach to addressing vulnerabilities.
- Foster effective communication amongst cross functional teams providing technical guidance, documentation, and training to ensure smooth collaboration.
Skills and qualifications:
- Must have at least 5 Years Experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Must be amenable to work on a late mid-shift schedule 6pm Manila to 3am..
- Must be amenable to report to the office 1-2 a month.
- Must have significant experience using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
