Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Analyst with extensive banking expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various banking domains, including Current and Savings Accounts (CASA), credit, clearing, payments, accounting, data reconciliation, and non-financial risk (NFR). The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and facilitating solutions that enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to CASA, credit, clearing, payments, accounting, and data reconciliation.

• Process Analysis: Evaluate existing processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization, with a focus on enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Data Analysis: Perform comprehensive data analysis to support business decisions, leveraging analytical tools and techniques to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all processes and solutions comply with relevant banking regulations and standards, particularly in relation to NFR and operational risk.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with IT teams to design effective solutions, ensuring that technical specifications align with business requirements.
• Testing and Validation: Develop test cases and scenarios and conduct testing to validate that solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process maps, and user guides.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience as a Business Analyst in the banking sector, with a focus on any of the ff: CASA

  • Non-Financial Risk (NFR)
• Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of banking software and systems is a plus.
