Summary:
Under limited supervision and direction, leads architecture and development efforts on multiple projects. Works closely with business partners, program managers, project managers, business analysts, data analyst, software developers, quality analysts and support specialists during all phases of projects to analyze requirements in the context of related applications and systems, model data and software processes, produce architectural approach documents and blueprints, and provide architectural guidance, oversight and support to projects in general. Mentors other software architects, software developers, and other colleagues. Drives architecture efforts of a whole area aligned with a program director. Actively contributes to strategic architecture improvement efforts. Manages a development team to deliver success of the project on desired schedule and budget.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience with software development
- 5+ years experience as a Solutions Architect or Senior Software Engineer
- Strong experience designing, reviewing and documenting AWS based solutions.
- Strong experience with AWS Infrastructure as Code (Cloudformation or Terraform)
- Highly proficient with C#/.Net and SQL
- Highly proficient with Angular/Typescript and related best practices
- Experience in designing and leading refactorings for scalable, resilient, and high-performance web applications in large enterprise settings.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Swagger/OpenAPI, Git and Azure DevOps/Jenkins (or similar)
- Strong understanding of architecture patterns and a passion for best practices.
- Comfortable doing Developer code reviews which are geared toward increasing team knowledge.
- Solid understanding of secure coding and application security patterns.
- Experience designing end-to-end solutions that integrate various systems, applications, and data sources.
- Experience developing architectural designs, specifications, and implementation plans for digital solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and trends and make recommendations for adoption based on their potential impact and value.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and support.
- Experience conducting architectural reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to act as a mentor and consensus builder.
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional a strong plus
- Experience with Module Federation a strong plus
