Qualifications
- 4 years and above experience in API testing and automation.
- Hands-on experience in Java, API Testing using Rest Assured and API Testing using Postman.
- Experienced in automating API services using RestAssured or using Postman JS scripting.
- Knowleedge on debugging logs using Kibana/Grafana, andcreating a framework from scratch.
- Has experties in functional testing.
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
Job Description
- Automate API testing
- Contribute nad possibly spearhead creation of custom framework for automation testing of APIs
- Collaborate with the Test Analysts /Lead
- Interact with clients to understand product requirements.
- Help identify risks and dependencies in testing
- Execute test cases and report defect
- Analyze test results on database impact, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Design the Test Cases based on the Test Scenarios/Functional Requirements (as needed)
- Help in prioritizing testing tasks
- Directly coordinate with the developers as needed
- Identify and resolve issues related with test execution
- Know when to escalate issues to the Test Analysts/Lead
- Use effectively the tools in testing
- Act as technical SPOC during project implementation regarding reported defects
- Help prepare Test Status Reports
- Help prepare Test Summary Report
- Interface with clients via corporate communication platforms/email.
- Complete sprints and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups and meeting
Non-Exemption/Must Have
- 4 years and above experience in API testing and automation.
