About the Role
We are looking for an
Accountant/Financial Assistant who will work closely with the Financial Controller. You will be assigned to an Australian client in a leading national independent recruitment group within the construction, infrastructure, and mining sectors.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Calculating month-end accruals
Preparation of monthly accounts across multiple entities
Reporting to the International parent entity
Assistance with the preparation and lodgement of BAS Statements, payroll tax & superannuation
Assistance with annual statutory reporting requirements
Ad Hoc Management reporting
Cost Analysis
Assistance with the preparation of annual budgets
Weekly forecast reporting
Variance analysis
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Accounts payable
Accounts receivable
Various ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Cost control
Project work
System & process improvement
Assistance with payroll & accounts receivable
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related Financial degree.
Preferably CPA Graduate.
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role.
Advanced Excel Skills.- Experience with Xero accounting preferable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong detail and analytical skills.
