Job Summary

Ensure cashflows and transactions are reflected in AABOR in a timely and accurate manner. Efficient trade capture from different sources and booking derivative transactions into the accounting system. Work closely with onshore to ensure accurate data is booked in the system. Resolve reconciliation breaks by booking the discrepancy in the system after validation. Support Middle Office on the fund events on a regular basis.

Minimum Requirements To Hire

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related course, CPA board exam passer is an advantage. CISI Level 2 an advantage.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work on dayshift/ mid-shift schedules, and Philippine holidays (when needed)
  • Amenability to work in U.P. Ayala Land Technohub
  • Amenability to report on Hybrid work set-up and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)

Minimum Skills To Hire

  • Knowledge in securities instruments/settlements and investment process
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in working with management and clients, adapting change strategies.
  • Knowledge in third-party data platforms such as Bloomberg, Simcorp and Duco.
  • Strong analytical ability, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Client focused with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Influence and negotiate with team and clients in a sophisticated and demanding business environment
  • React quickly and meet tight deadlines maintaining accuracy and thoroughness
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in working with management and clients, adapting change strategies.

On The Job You Will

  • Oversee and ensure accurate and timely processing of trades, cash transactions, and derivative activities into the accounting system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of transaction exceptions.
  • Manage response and ensure timely and diligently respond to stakeholders requests and inquiries.
  • Keep the procedures and policies up to date and ensure adherence of the team.
  • Provide support to the team as required, to participate in a regular program of industry-specific training and inter-departmental cross-training to ensure continuity of service.
  • Recognize lapses in different workflows and recommend/initiate process improvements/control measures
  • Constantly provide coaching to the team by conducting training and preparing/updating conceptual reference materials
  • Actively participate in regular service calls with various onshore partners.
  • Lead and aid on projects to meet Management requirements by doing research, identifying needs, developing solutions, and implementing them.
  • Remain updated with relevant securities industry development and market-specific best practices
  • Continuously check the relevance of the reports and processes provided by the team to onshore partners.
  • Act as a point person on the production floor for the team.
