About The Role
We are excited to announce an open position for the role of
Specialist - Capital & TWC. This integral role involves close collaboration with Regional & Functional Management, pivotal in leading Orica's Investment Management Processes for Capital Expenditure and providing crucial analytical support for Trade Working Capital.
You will be at the forefront of Orica's financial decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the annual capital Portfolio forecast and budget, overseeing proposed capital expenditure investments to ensure compliance with sound business investment decision making and compliance with Orica standards, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and providing insightful analysis to support informed decision-making. Additionally, you will provide insightful analysis to support informed decision making and play a support role in optimising Trade Working Capital, contributing to the organization's overall financial health and success.

The role location is based in our Manila Office in Pasig.
What you will be doing
Capital Portfolio Management:
- Manage the Regional capital plan and annual budget in line with global reporting standards.
- Lead the Regional Capital Review Committee, driving smooth processes and sound conclusions to issues raised.
- Make recommendations and take actions to meet Capital Portfolio objectives.
- Analyse project performance data, ensuring optimal capital allocation and provide solutions where capital is constrained.
- Formulate and maintain standardised reports for efficient decision making and tracking.
- Work closely with the Group Capital team to ensure compliance with Orica standards.
- Coordinate Post Implementation Reviews for continuous improvement insights.
- Provide clear decision support for strategic options.
- Provide user training & Regional support in the SAP PPM tool
Trade Working Capital Support:
- Forecast and report actual performance for all elements of Regional Trade Working Capital.
- Providing succinct variance analysis that communicates key insights for senior leaders.
- Offer & drive implementation of insights & opportunities for Regional Trade Working Capital.
- Liaise with the broader business and finance business partners to provide the above.
What you will bring
- Minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in accounting, finance, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated people leadership in a large, global business setting
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business discipline.
- Professional designation CA, CIMA, or CPA, or actively working towards it.
- Excellent knowledge of related accounting standards
- Strong SAP experience, preferably with 4S including exposure to capital functionality.
- Ideally, previous experience managing large-scale capital expenditure programs.
