Purpose Statement:Responsible for managing all aspects of special events, the general oversight and day-to-day
operation of all events that includes all fundraising activities, promotion, policies and
procedures, record keeping, and support for active volunteers.
Works with the Fund Generation Director and/or Board to plan and implement strategic direction with regards to fund raising events to secure revenue for the organization.
- Promotes Red Cross services by encouraging partners such as corporations, associations, organizations and institutions through fund raising events, campaigns, and projects.
Conceptualizes new workable schemes/ proposals of special events that are vital in promoting Red Cross and to raise funds.- Undertakes a continuing research on updates and trends for a successful events and innovates marketing strategies through events to further encourage the donors to be involved more in Red Cross.
Devises workable system of task scheduling and allocation from an equitable workload distribution among staff and thus attain maximized results of the office operation.
- Taps and communicates with potential partners that can help in planning, preparation and implementation of the event.
Achieves the annual goal of the unit.- Plans and attends all functions of the organization as they relate to special events.
Maintains organization calendar for special events, meetings, etc.
- Attends meetings of the organization and/or Board and appropriate committees, as requested.
Maintains all donor and fund development records.- Works with appropriate staff and consultants to create all collateral materials for organization including, but not limited to, brochures, newsletters, special projects, merchandise, and annual reports.
Monitors, supervises and evaluates Fund Generation Special
- Event staff in accordance with organization policy and procedure.
Undertakes other duties and responsibilities as required to ensure continuous operation of fund generation activity.
Clearly communicates program benefits, terms, pricing, process and timeline to internal and external (leads, partners, donors, etc.) market.- Maintains extensive internal communication with all PRC
Service Departments, program staff, finance and administration, and at times the executive team.
Prepare reports, talking points and presentation materials for senior and executive management.
- Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related courses
- Advance university degree in relevant role is an advantage
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in similar role- Experience in all aspects of developing and implementing marketing programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in organizing and planning, project management, problem-solving and analysis, formal presentations, innovation and collaboration
Strong networking and social skills- Able to work within acceptable cost of sales
