JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:The Spanish Bilingual CSR is primarily responsible for answering patient inquiries with exceptional customer service while maintaining positive patient relations.
- Billing inquiries: Patients may call to inquire about their bills, ask for clarification on charges, or request an itemized bill.
Insurance coverage: Patients may call to inquire about their insurance coverage or request that a claim be submitted to their insurance company by confirming updated insurance.- Claim denials or rejections: Patients may call to inquire about a claim that was denied or rejected by their insurance company and seek assistance in resolving the issue.
Prior authorization: Patients may call to inquire about prior authorization requirements for a specific treatment or procedure.
- Medical records requests: Patients may call to request copies of their medical records.
Follow-up appointments: Patients may call to schedule follow-up appointments.- Insurance inquiries: Patients may call to ask questions about their insurance coverage or to confirm that the physician is in their network.
Appointment scheduling or rescheduling: Patients may call to schedule or reschedule an appointment with the physician.
- QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Spanish speaking skills (trainingcertification)
At least one year experience in US Healthcare
- 1 + year of call center experience with 1 year of additional special
Knowledge of latest technologies pertinent to the Healthcare discipline, well versed in claims billing and insurance plans/policies.- Communication Proficiency i.e., talking to others to convey information effectively.
Customer/Client Focus. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Ability to multitask & Organizational skills a must.
- Exemplary customer service skills - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Technical Capacity. ECW, EPIC, NextGen, Kareo, Gemms One, Microsoft Office, Computer literate.- Problem Solving/Analysis.
Time Management.
High school degree or higher- Work in rotating shift - US STandard Time
Willing to work in Ortigas
