Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at Amorita Resort in Panglao. The Sous Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. The role involves working closely with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect the resort's commitment to quality and innovation.

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: Experience in banquet, buffet, ala-carte, and administration in the kitchen
  • Culinary skills in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management
  • Experience in local and international cuisine
  • Experience in creating innovative and high-quality dishes
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Team player with strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards
  • Previous experience in a luxury resort or fine dining establishment is a plus
  • Formal culinary training or certification is preferred
