Job Overview
The Sourcing Supervisor supports our Recruiting Team and helps us place qualified candidates faster by actively searching for potential candidates using various sourcing techniques, including social media platforms and Boolean searches. Their main objective is to identify and attract qualified candidates to fill job vacancies.
Sourcing Supervisor responsibilities include searching social networks and portfolio sites to identify potential candidates, sending recruiting emails & organizing an effective employee/ non- employee referral system, and optimizing other effective Sourcing Channels.
Additionally, Sourcing Supervisors build strong talent pipelines for our company's current and future staffing needs, measure conversion rates, promote the employer brand, and maintain candidate databases.
To be successful in this role, you should combine knowledge of sourcing techniques with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Point of contact for all questions related to talent sourcing as well as employee and non- employee referrals activities
- Use social media networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) to look for and connect with potential candidates
- Share job ads on various online channels (job boards, social media groups, professional communities)
- Interact with potential candidates on job boards like Indeed and Jobstreet
- Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates
- Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles
- Contact past applicants for new job opportunities
- Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
- Log candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
- Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position's requirements
- Send recruiting emails and follow up with candidates
- Update and maintain a central file of candidates sourced.
- Ensure its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of submission
- Measure and report on recruiting metrics, like source of hire and time-to-fill
- Host and participate in job fairs and other career events
- Work on other tasks that may be assigned from time-to-time
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Proven work experience as a Sourcing Supervisor, tenured Senior Sourcer or similar role
- Familiarity with social networks, job boards, professional sites and resume databases
- Can effectively communicate within a varied audience and internal & external customers using different platforms
- Creativity
- Familiarity with event planning
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and other Human Resources Management software
- Thorough and meticulous in completing assigned tasks and with the ability to propose ways to prevent or eliminate discrepancies
Evaluation of Performance
- The Sourcing Supervisor will be evaluated regularly to ensure the position is impacting the organization in the most positive way. Key objectives that will be tracked and reviewed will be hiring targets met, applicant experience and other related Talent Sourcing KPI's.

Education/Experience
- At least 2-years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's in Human Resources Management or relevant field, or equivalent experience
