Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Solutions Delivery Manager to join our team. As a Solutions Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful implementation of projects.
In this role, you will assess the agile maturity of the organization and coach them to achieve higher levels of maturity. You will provide leadership and interventions to allow delivery squads to focus on their goals and accomplish them effectively. The Solutions Delivery Manager should have a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices and be able to implement them efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. They will have at least 3 years of solid experience implementing Agile SCRUM and at least 1 year of experience as a SCRUM Master of SCRUM of SCRUMs. They should also have at least 2 years of experience leading a cross-functional team and at least 1 year of experience in development, software testing, or business analysis.
Experience in a DevOps environment and knowledge of the SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) environment are advantageous. The candidate should possess proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes based on business requirements. They should also be well-versed in systems development life cycle principles and have a history of generating innovative and effective solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as the candidate should be able to explain complex technical topics in a manner that can be easily understood.
Requirements
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Program Management
- Overall delivery management of each project under his portfolio ensuring on time, on budget projects that meets coding standards and best practices for each platform
- Builds and manage project assets repo (project site, docs repo, trackers, etc.)
- Data analysis and recommendation to continuously improve delivery performance
- Risk management and issue resolution and mitigation
- Problem management (RCA and resolution)
- Process definition to promote quality, security and efficiency on all projects
- SLA definition (response and resolve)
- Project tools management
- Clear blockers for the SMEs to perform and deliver
- Post mortem and SWOT discussion every after each project
- Provide direct supervision and mentoring to project team members
Agile Practice Expert
- Leads automation efforts as well as part of the DevSecOps and Test Engineering practices
- Works with different practices / domain leads to ensure best value is delivered to our customers both internally and externally
- Leading and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption;
- Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical productdevelopment
- Causing change that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team; and,
- Working with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application ofScrum in the organization
- Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices
- Removes impediments
- Ensure that the team is fully functional and productive
- Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions
- Shield the team from external interferences
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree/College degree in engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 3 years solid experience implementing Agile SCRUM
- At least 1-year experience as a SCRUM Master of SCRUM of SCRUMs
- At least 2 years experience leading a cross functional team
- At least 1-year experience on development
- At least 1-year experience on software testing or business analysis
- At least 1-year experience working on a DevOps environment
- Experience in SAFE environment is an advantage
- Proven problem solving-skills and ability to successfully adapt to changes based on business requirements
- Must be conversant with systems development life cycle principles
