Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Panel Installer to join our team for project-based assignments, including travel to South Pacific territories. The Solar Panel Installer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar panel systems for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in solar panel installation and possess a strong technical aptitude.
- Install solar panels on rooftops or ground-mounted structures according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Perform electrical wiring and connections to ensure proper functioning of solar panel systems.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine the optimal placement and orientation of solar panels.
- Assist in the assembly and mounting of racking, inverters, and other system components.
- Test and troubleshoot solar panel systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any questions or concerns from clients regarding their solar panel systems.
- Coordinate project logistics, including scheduling, materials procurement, and transportation.
- Willing to travel in Philippines or overseas
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training (TESDA) or certification in electrical or solar installation is preferred.
- Previous experience (at least 3 years) in solar panel installation or related field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and basic construction principles.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
