QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Preferably Registered Electrical Engineer.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in solar energy system design and engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and PV design tools (e.g.PVsyst, Helioscope).
Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and grid integration concepts.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g, NEC, IEC, IEEE, PEC) governing solar PV installations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in design documentation and calculations.

- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial and utility-scale projects (Solar Farm - Ground Mounted)
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and solar resource analysis to determine project viability and optimal system configuration.
Create detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.- Specify and select appropriate solar equipment, components, and materials based on project requirements and industry standards.
Perform shading analysis, electrical load calculations, and energy production estimations to optimize system performance and maximize energy yield.
- Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure the structural integrity and safety of solar installations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely completion and compliance with specifications.
Stay current with advancements in solar technology, industry standards, codes and requlations.
- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and presentations to communicate design concepts, progress, and recommendations effectively.
