Job Summary:- The Junior Software Tester is responsible for the creation, execution of manual and automated test activities, documentation, and analysis of test results to attain test objectives.
- He / She is also responsible for supporting and monitoring test activities of users to ensure compliance to established specifications and testing standards.
- He / She is responsible in the review, escalation and monitoring of resolution of issues noted during test activities.
- EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline
- WORK EXPERIENCE / TRAINING REQUIREMENT:
At least 1-year experience in Software Testing
- KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
With knowledge on Microsoft Office (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio)
- Preferably with working knowledge in ISO8583, Unix or SQL
Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new technology, process and environment- Passion for software testing with strong attention to detail, documentation and process
Willingness and ability to work with a team and to provide support to internal and external users
- Can perform various tasks with minimal supervision
Strong oral and written communication skills- ISTQB certified is a plus
