About the Role:
Provide software application support for web applications in a cloud infrastructure.
Possess specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications, and software.
Consult with the development team, internal users, and clients to improve performance.
Manage a ticketed query system and maintain a comprehensive database of queries and resolutions.
Establish root causes of application errors and escalate serious concerns.
Perform analyses on application functionality and suggest improvements.
Communicate with vendors maintaining infrastructure.
Configure and maintain application services.
Develop and automate operational processes.
Improve platform monitoring and own these tools/dashboards.
Troubleshoot customer tickets and handle incidents.
Continuously improve the team, tools, and processes.
About You:
5+ years of experience in client-facing application support.
Knowledgeable in UNIX/Linux commands and functions.
Experience in a highly automated and dynamic cloud environment.
Proven experience with cloud-based technologies and solutions.
Strong Linux/Unix administration experience.
Good knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with ticketing systems.
Ability to follow documented procedures accurately.
Willingness to work extra hours during crises and on a 24x7 shifting schedule.
