As a Software Implementation Specialist, you will work as part of a team and with our clients on the design, installation, configuration, and support of our software products and services. While involved in many projects, this position's primary focus will be designing and implementing web-based user interfaces inside our EPM product. These solutions are built using Visual Studio and are enhanced using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
The position offers great variety and continual learning, and it will require a mix of technical, business, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify the stated business requirements, identify the root problems, and design UIs that meet the client's/project's needs
- Create wireframes, workflows, prototypes, envision edge cases, and articulate why some UI designs may be more advantageous
- Design consistent, high-quality UI across multiple browsers and devices (tablets, phones, pcs)
- Assists with the installation, configuration, and support of the delivered solutions as needed
- Participates in testing and feature development of products in the ScerIS solution suite
- Create and deliver customer training as part of overall projects
- Participate in the technical support queue to resolve customer issues and answer their questions. In the future, this may include participating in a rotating on-call support program
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in technology or business-related field
- General understanding of corporate networked environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Server platforms and Active Directory
- Experience in designing web pages
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Experience using JavaScriptJQuery
- Experience with Windows ServerIIS
- The ability to travel to clients sites as needed (travel averages less than 10%, but could vary based on clients need)
Experience with any of the below is a plus:
- Creating or maintaining SQL queries
- Experience with creating SSIS packages or SSRS reports
- Experience using ASP .NET controls
- Experience with .NET or ASPX environments
- Experience with Microsoft WF
