Description & Requirements
The Principal Software Engineer, Systems must have the ability to execute systems development projects with minimal technical direction. The Principal Software Engineer, Systems must be able to produce high quality, high performance software that meets company's software development standards. Needs to be actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.

What You Will Need

Basic Qualification:

At least 8 years working experience in application development
At least 5 years working experience in any scripting language.
Knowledge in Perl and Python is an advantage.
Good oral and written communication skills

What Will Put You Ahead

Preferred Qualification:

Knowledge in the following technologies is an advantage: Unix/Linux, Java and AWS
Working knowledge of Wiki, Jira and Git

A Day In A Life Typically Includes:

Estimates level of effort to complete design, implementation, and development testing.
Performs peer review of the code.
Performs unit testing of the code and performs integration level testing with other features or products in the system.
Develops and maintains knowledge of Infor systems elements and products, design and implementation tools used in the software development environment as well as current technologies in software development, computer systems and industry
trends.
Volunteers experience and expertise to help others.
Works cooperatively and supportively within a programming team environment.
