Job Overview:*
As a Software Test Engineer, you are essential in conducting comprehensive functional tests across a variety of software products. Your role is critical to ensuring these products meet established quality standards and fulfill user expectations prior to their release. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify, report, and address software defects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:*
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases derived from requirement documents and user stories.
- Employ advanced software testing techniques such as boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, and error guessing to detect potential defects.
- Maintain a proactive partnership with the development team to ensure rapid identification and resolution of issues.
- Oversee test progress to guarantee that the testing schedule adheres to deadlines.
- Prepare detailed test reports that document both test results and identified issues.
- Conduct essential regression testing throughout the software release cycle.
- Develop and sustain automation test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Author and continuously update user manuals to ensure they are accurate and user-friendly.
Basic Requirements:*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of one year of experience in software testing, with a preference for those with black-box testing expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate both independently and as an effective team member.
Skills Required:*
- Proficiency in database operations and SQL queries.
- Strong capability to interpret and analyze requirement documents and design specifications accurately.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:*
- Prior experience with mobile or web application testing is highly valued.
- Background in performance testing or security testing is advantageous.
