Job Description

Our client within the financial sector is seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in Java and Kotlin.

Mandatory Skill-set
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Proven experience as a Backend Software Engineer with strong skills in Java and Kotlin;
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns;
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services;
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git);
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Desired Skill-set
  • Has working experience within the financial sector.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features;
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code;
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability;
  • Debug and optimize applications.;
  • Participate in code reviews and best practices;
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
