Software Developer - Full Stack (Python, Django, and Vue.js)

Wellevate, the fast-growing PowerPoint design and outsourcing agency, is seeking a Software Developer - Full Stack (Python, Django, and Vue.js) to support one of our key global clients in their software development endeavors. This role is dedicated to developing and maintaining web applications, designing and implementing RESTful APIs, and creating engaging user interfaces. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing robust, scalable, and secure features, and integrating cutting-edge technologies into our client's existing systems and workflows. • Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Django and Nuxt.js.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Django REST framework.

Create engaging and responsive user interfaces using Nuxt.js and Tailwind CSS.

• Integrate front-end and back-end components to ensure seamless functionality.

Utilize Git for version control and collaborate with team members on code reviews and merges.

• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, and code standards).

Participate in the full development lifecycle, from engineering to deployment and maintenance.

• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in web development technologies and best practices.

• Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript programming languages.

• Experience with Django web framework and Django REST framework.

Solid understanding of Vue.js and Nuxt.js for building interactive front-end applications.

• Familiarity with HTML and CSS for creating responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Basic knowledge of SQL and database management.

• Experience with version control using Git.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Preferred qualifications

Experience with Docker for local development.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development.

Knowledge of Celery for asynchronous task processing.

• Understanding of RabbitMQ for message queuing and communication between services.
