Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor/Master degree in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of software development experience with a proven track record of product excellence
- Strong background in any object-oriented programming language; familiarity with design patterns, data structures, complexity theory, and related concepts.
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and associated tools
- Experience on one or more popular web UI frameworks (Oracle JET, Angular JS, React, Vue.js) preferred
- Detailed understanding of modern web applications and services (REST, SOAP/WSDL)
- Hands-on experience on building web-based applications preferred
- Detailed understanding of test automation and test strategies from unit testing to testing web applications
- Excellent problem solving and software design skills
- A demonstrated commitment to building high-quality product that is functionally correct, secure, performant, scalable and robust
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication and capability to work with a combination of local and remote collaboration.
- Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions. A track record for building products with exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will:
- Design, develop, and debug software applications or operating systems.
- Design, and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
- Work closely with other development teams, product management and UX to translate user requirements into technical solutions for NetSuite's next generation user experience.
- Leverage modern development processes and tools, including Oracle JET and TypeScript.
- Use existing methods and best practices to create applications with the highest levels of quality, security, reliability, efficiency, scalability, and usability.
- Provide technical leadership to other software developers. May have project lead role and/or mentor lower level personnel.
