Social Media Moderation Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our team of moderators to uphold community guidelines and ensure content meets our standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a positive online presence for our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire our social media moderation team in enforcing community guidelines and content policies
- Develop comprehensive training programs for new moderators, ensuring they are confident in their roles and aligned with company standards
- Review and approve user-generated content to maintain compliance with our policies and legal requirements
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for resolution, ensuring swift and effective responses
- Analyze moderation trends to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing our moderation policies
- Craft clear and professional responses to user inquiries, fostering a positive online image for the company
- Work closely with departments like marketing and legal to ensure consistent messaging and policy adherence
- Monitor and report on key moderation metrics to assess team performance and identify areas for enhancement
- Stay informed about social media trends and best practices in moderation to adapt and improve our strategies
Qualifications:
- 3+ years proven experience in social media moderation, including leadership or supervisory roles
- Proficient with Google Docs and Sheets
- Strong grasp of community guidelines, content policies, and legal considerations
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Analytical mindset with the capability to derive insights from data
