Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team and elevate the online presence of our podcast. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic social media campaigns to increase engagement, expand our audience reach, and enhance brand awareness across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to promote the podcast across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and others as deemed relevant.
Create engaging and shareable content tailored to each platform to drive audience interaction and grow our following.
Manage all social media accounts, including scheduling and publishing posts, and monitoring analytics to track performance.
. Who's able to help us increase our TikTok followers from 10k followers to 150k followers. Or YouTube subscribers from 500 subs to 20k subs. Or IG from 20k followers to 200k followers.
. Ideally, You've been responsible for at least 20k of growth, of at least 1 social channel from your previous client.
Collaborate with the podcast team to brainstorm and create content ideas that align with the podcast's brand and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to continually optimize our strategy and maximize results.
Monitor and report on key social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Cultivate relationships with influencers, partners, and relevant communities to expand our network and reach new audiences.
Coordinate promotions, giveaways, and other special events to engage our audience and foster community involvement.
Collaborate with other team members, including podcast hosts, producers, and graphic designers, to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all platforms.
Additional:
Recording the podcast with top-notch audio and video quality falls under clients jurisdiction.
Once the Social Media manager receives the files, they take charge of editing the podcast using an editor for both audio and video uploads.
The Social Media manager will upload the edited podcast to relevant channels.
Additionally, they will slice 1-10 minute segments for YouTube and Facebook, and under 60-second snippets for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
All cutouts require suitable captions and descriptions before uploading.
The manager will handle the posting process and ensure engagement with the posts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in social media management, preferably within the podcasting or entertainment industry.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and creating shareable content.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
Familiarity with podcasting platforms and audio editing software is preferred.
A genuine interest in podcasts and a willingness to stay informed about industry trends and developments.
