As a _Site Inspector
_, you expected to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and applicable regulations.- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and scope
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
Review and approve architectural or engineering designs.- Create and maintain project documentation, including plans, drawings, and specifications
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits.
- Supervise construction activities, ensuring they align with project plans and specifications.
Monitor the progress of work and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Implement quality control measures to ensure workmanship meets high standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks at various project stages.
Address and resolve any issues related to construction quality.- Manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost control.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage change orders when necessary.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the construction site.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices.- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing project updates and addressing concerns.
Lead and motivate project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges in a timely manner.
Make informed decisions to keep the project on track.
- What does it take to be part of the team
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or in a related field.- Professional licensure as a Civil Engineer or Architect is preferred but not required.
At least 6 months of working experience in project management and construction supervision.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and construction management software.
- Understanding of sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices is preferred.
Willing to conduct sites visits daily
