Role and Responsibilities:
1.Supervising the Electrical Team:
- Manage and supervise the electrical team on-site.
- Ensure all work is completed according to the project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
2.Coordinating with Other Departments:
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and after-sales teams.
- Ensure alignment of electrical work with the overall project plan.
3.Site Safety:
- Implement safety protocols to ensure the safety of all workmen on-site.
- Enforce the use of PPE and safety gear.
4.Quality Control:
- Ensure all electrical work meets project specifications and industry quality standards.
- Eliminate the need for rework on any site.
5.Resource Management:
- Raise purchase requests, coordinate, assist, and deliver materials to the site.
- Ensure material safety when stored at the site or warehouse.
6.Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of all electrical work completed on-site.
- Include progress reports, work schedules, material usage, and workmen utilization.
7.Troubleshooting:
- Develop the ability to troubleshoot electrical problems during construction.
- Work with the team to find effective solutions.
8.Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with the electrical team, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all project objectives are met.
9.Compliance:
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and codes.
10.Training and Development:
- Self-train and develop the skills of the electrical team.
- Improve team performance and ensure the success of future projects.
11.Transportation and Punctuality:
- Handle transportation of workmen from lodging facilities to respective sites.
- Ensure site work begins promptly by 9:30 AM.
12.Additional Assistance:
- Assist the office in accounts-related and admin activities when sites are not active.
13.Training Junior Staff:
- Train junior site supervisors and technicians for continuous improvement.
14.Technical Knowledge Upgradation:
- Self-train on electrical works and upgrade technical knowledge beyond solar works alone.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in site engineering, preferably in the solar industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance regulations.
