Role Description
The Business Development Manager (Site Acquisition) will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with customers and partners particularly in securing site acquisitions. The role involves research and market analysis to identify new business opportunities, as well as negotiating and closing deals to achieve sales quotas.
- Develop and deliver pitches for potential sites.
- Helped develop and implement growth strategies and opportunities.
- Provide training and mentoring to members of the business development team.
- Consistently secure and recommend new market opportunities and profitable sites.
- Prepare the business development budget and continually track expenses, as well as make sure we're on track to hit targets.
- Analyze current and past financial data, such as financial reports, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.
- Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in business development, sales, site acquisition or related field
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client & contractor relationships
- Experience in market analysis and research
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus
