• What we are looking for

The Front End Developer is responsible for coding and designing optimized Frontend Structures, Frameworks, and Platforms. They translate design comps accurately and seamlessly into standards-compliant web code and cross-browser capability.

• The bare essentials

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Proven skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as a thorough grasp of the DOM

Previous experience working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API

• Working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating

Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed

• In-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks

Working knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Metafields

• Extensive testing and debugging abilities using the browser console and other tools

Prior experience developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

• Working knowledge of third-party services and APIs, as well as Shopify plugins

Must have at least an experience in animations

• Must strictly follow the established coding standards and procedures

Excellent time management skills

Able to work in a team environment

• Able to work with remote clients

• Responsibilities:

Understand and execute both technical and client requirements

• Plan & develop web applications and digital products that are user-centric, robust, secure, and are in industry standards

Maintain quality and performance-optimized applications.

• Design and execute database architectures

Take part in product conceptualization and design

• Maintain & update existing applications/project

Design and develop APIs for project use

• Develop applications using Shopify / WordPress / Vue / React / Angular Frameworks or other technologies that may be required

• X factors

Has worked in the digital or advertising industry

• Experience working with Australian or multinational clients
