Logistics
Look after the day-to-day operation of the vessels.
Develop a training program for the proper check operation and engine maintenance of the ships.
Ensures that all directives, memoranda, circulars, orders and regulations are observed on board.
Responsible for the routine inspection of vessels and ensure all deficiencies noted are rectified and reported.
Monitors workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with company safety and quality system.
Help manage risks and hazards in the workplace. This includes raising awareness about the importance of following safety guidelines and carrying out the drills and exercises to deal with an emergency situation.
Develop injury and incident prevention strategies for the workplace.
Assist in the preparation of dry docking incidents and attends to the dry docking of company vessels.
Ensure that the planned maintenance of each vessel is carried out in accordance to its schedule and recorded.
Monitors the oil consumption of each vessel making sure that it is in accordance to the engine motors working capacity and in consideration to fuel conservation policy of the company.
Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the VP-Operations.
