The SharePoint developers are responsible for implementing, testing, and deploying the SharePoint-based knowledge management system, following the specifications and instructions of the SharePoint architect. The SharePoint developers also create and customize SharePoint features, web parts, workflows, and applications, and integrate them with other Microsoft 365 services and devices. The SharePoint developers should have skills in SharePoint development, programming languages, and web technologies.
- Qualifications for SharePoint Administrator:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- A Microsoft 365 Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate certification or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in administering SharePoint Online or SharePoint Server in an enterprise environment
- Experience in managing SharePoint security, governance, and compliance policies and settings
- Experience in performing backup, restore, and migration operations using SharePoint tools and PowerShell
- Experience in monitoring and optimizing the performance and health of SharePoint environments using Microsoft 365 Admin Center, SharePoint Admin Center, and other tools
- Experience in integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services and devices, such as OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 Apps
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, hybrid scenarios, and SharePoint hybrid search
- Knowledge of SharePoint development, web technologies, and programming languages is a plus
