BEEd major in Preschool Education, or.
BEEd major in Teaching Early Grades, or.
BEEd with 21 units in Early Childhood Education,
BSE with 21 units in Early Childhood Education, and.
BS Psychology with at least 18 units in Preschool Education;
- Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the student in understanding and completing classroom assignments, projects, and tasks.
- Provide additional explanation and instruction to ensure comprehension of lessons.
Encourage social interactions and facilitate peer relationships.- Monitor and address any behavioral issues that may arise, in collaboration with the classroom teacher and school administrators.
Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, feeding, and dressing, if required.
- Support the development of life skills, such as organization, time management, and independence.
Maintain open communication with the student's parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and any concerns.- Collaborate with the adviser, other teachers, and school administrators to create and implement individualized education plans or behavior intervention plans.
Keep detailed records of the student's daily, weekly, and monthly progress, behaviors, and achievements.
- Write reports or contribute to progress reviews as part of the student's educational plan.
Take part in the school's marketing campaign by collating videos and pictures of the class.- Procure materials and supplies needed for the planned activities.
Perform the duties of an assistant teacher and handle enrichment classes.
- Others duly assigned by the immediate superior.
