DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The Service Manager should perform the major function listed below. The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.
- Advance troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of designated equipment
Completing preventive maintenance and field modifications- Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs, internal service records in a timely manner and departmental reports
Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
- Ordering and managing repair parts cycle
Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated- Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues
Training others to use equipment
- Ensuring proper adherence to safety requirements in facilities
- QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role.
- Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering
With at least 10 years of previous experience in the medical industry particularly in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting medical equipment
- Knowledge of computer software and hardware troubleshooting
CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not required- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.
Project Management Skills (ability to assist with multiple duties including service calls, installation, coordination, and scheduling).
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking- Resourceful, with the ability to work independently
Attention to detail
- Good skills in customer care
With Leadership qualities and able to manage his team
