The scope of duties includes the following:- Overall in charge of TS daily activities and in implementing all TS Projects.
- Evaluates all customer inquiries on TS-related activities, prepare and submit project cost estimates to Project Manager/Sales/Marketing for project proposal/quotation generation.
- Coordinates with customer representatives and contractors/subcontractors for the scope of work and schedule of project implementation.
- Evaluates and determine the methodology/procedures and work to be performed, materials, tools, and equipment to be used, manpower, and time to accomplish the project.
- Evaluates, analyze and prepare test results, and submit test reports and recommendations on all TS implemented projects.
- Formulate Test forms deemed for revisions and coordinate with interface for implementation.
- Assists the Project Manager in planning and handling TS personnel scheduling. Observes and enforces safety practices, rules and regulations. Enforces housekeeping and cleaning of work areas, tools, equipment and vehicles.
- Lists, prepares and checks Tools, Materials, Testing Equipment and vehicle before and after project implementation.
- Conducts Site and equipment evaluation and inspection in all TS Projects.
- Familiar with High Voltage Substation Equipment Maintenance and testing.
- Troubleshooting electrical faults/problems encountered during project implementation.
- Conducts lectures and training of lower ranks on TS Personnel to upgrade skills and competency in Electrical Equipment testing, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance activities.
- Preparation and generation of test reports to be submitted to the Project Manager for final review/approval prior to submission to customer.
- Maintain and safeguard of all TS Department test results, data and records.
- Directly Reporting to the Project Manager.
- Other Task that the Immediate Head/Project Manager may assign
- With extensive experience on Testing and Calibration of Protective Relays such as Transformer/Generator/Line Differential Relays, Current Directional Relays, Distance Relays, Over/Under Voltage/Frequency Relays, Over Current Relays etc. Testing and Commissioning of control &protective relaying equipment in Substations, Power plants and Process plants not limited to Generator, Transformer, Bus Coupler, Bus-Transfer, and Line feeder.
- Perform functional testing of substation control circuits on relay panel, transformers, circuit breaker change, bus bar panel etc.
- Calibrate & perform functional tests on both electromechanical and micro-processor based protective relays for high voltage substations.
- Perform end-to-end relay testing, line impedance testing, primary injection and secondary injection testing, stability tests of transformers and bursars etc.
- Trouble shooting of electrical control circuits and protective relaying equipment.
- Below are the qualifications needed:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- With a minimum of 5 years experience in Electrical Equipment Engineering, Protection Engineer, Power Plant, Technical Services Contractor, or Manufacturing.
- With a valid Professional License.
- With good Communication Skills.
- Can drive Manual and Automatic Vehicle Type and with a valid Driver's License.
- Willing to be assigned at any point in the Philippines.
- This type of job is a full-time and permanent with an 8-hour shift from Monday to Saturday.
