Must Have Skills: Azure Cost Management/Optimization
Azure Active Directory/ Microsoft Entra ID, conditional Access Policies.
Azure VNET, Storage Account, Resource Group, Tags, Policies.
Internal DNS & Public Domain registration management.
Windows based vendor hosted third party applications.
Deploy and maintain Azure resources and other cloud technologies.
Implementation and support for Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers in the Cloud.
Design architecture for integrating core infrastructure technologies in support of enterprise applications.
Recommend, implement, and monitor security auditing and alerting solutions.
Monitor cloud and on-premise resources to verify integrity and availability.
Collaborate with application development, network/security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration within the production environment, including validation planning, validation testing coordination, and reporting production readiness for deployment.
Ensure timely resolution of issues, responsible for communicating with all impacted parties the status and resolution of all issues.
Communicate with customers and notify them of impending changes or agreed outages.
Assists with special projects or other duties as assigned.
Well versed with Windows OS troubleshooting, deployment, patching and PowerShell knowledge
VMWare vCenter, ESXi Hypervisor, Datastore configuration, virtual Switch configuration
VMWare ESXi Upgrade & Patch management
- Roles & Responsibilities:
Microsoft Active Directory Services and Domain Knowledge with Cross domain trust.
Familiar with Domain Controllers / OUs / GPOs
AD replication troubleshooting knowledge and aware tools, commands
DNS (Private/Public), DHCP, IIS, Web,
Virtualization capacity planning, optimization, and automation of reports
Daily health check of environment and analysis on trend of alerts
Environmental risk and mitigation plans, Proactive measure, Consolidation
Azure concepts, Azure Active Directory
Power CLI, Windows PowerShell scripting for the automation of tasks
Handling Major outage, driving team and bosting
Customer interaction, Daily Meetings and Updates,
Strong working knowledge of security best practices for Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies.
Experience deploying Azure resources and other cloud technologies, including Office 365, PAAS, IAAS, SAAS, Power BI, etc.
Experience with Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access Policies, and third-party single sign-on technologies.
Experience with Azure Landing Pages, Blueprints, RBAC, and PowerShell scripting.
Strong understanding of security concepts surrounding operating systems and applications.
Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, Certificate Services, IIS, etc.
Knowledge of IT industry standards, change management processes, and use of enterprise standards change control procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external groups in a team environment to improve overall customer service and support.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
Ability to work independently, prioritize existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; think and act quickly to solve issues.
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to provide the explanation of technology for nontechnical managers, directors, and above. Great people skills are a must.
