Duties and Responsibilities:The role consists of, but is not limited to:
- Creating and owning SEO Strategies for on-page and off-page activity for a portfolio of clients to support the client's goals
Audit and assess clients SEO progress regularly against agreed KPIs and report monthly insights and recommendations to the Account Management team- Provide audits and proposals to support the Business Development team
Provide clear direction to the wider team, including dev, to ensure tasks can be executed effectively
- Proactively identify process improvements and create solutions in collaboration with the SEO Director
Provide support to the internal team on SEO strategy and questions as needed- Share updates on industry trends, developments and their implications with the SEO team and help build and update best practices
Expert in standard SEO practices, including:
- Tech SEO including structured data, crawl errors, robots.txt, redirects, analysing code etc
Keyword research, identifying opportunities and keyword mapping- Meta tag research, writing and optimisation
Keyword tracking and competitor tracking
- Content planning and content briefs with clear direction
Internal linking optimisation- Competitor and backlink auditing
Link building and outreach strategies to increase DA
- NAP audit and citation building
Setting up goal tracking (GTM / Analytics)- Google Search Console and Google Analytics auditing
Producing accurate and insightful Google Data Studio dashboard reports to highlight campaign performance and success.
Comprehensive experience of:
- Local SEO ranking factors
On-site and off-site ranking factors- SEO tools such as SEM Rush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
Google Search Console, Analytics, Tag Manager
Minimum 4 years experience strategising, executing and managing SEO campaigns across different industries.
- Deep understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO, the nuances of different industries and the elements which give the quickest/best return on investment
Ambitious, driven self-starter passionate about SEO and internet marketing.- Outstanding ability to think creatively and identify and resolve problems.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
- High self-discipline with strong analytical and organisational skills to deliver results.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex digital marketing strategies.- Ability to learn new business/industry types quickly and apply this knowledge to digital marketing initiatives and achieving client goals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Content writing experience an advantage.
Paid Search / PPC experience an advantage.- Advanced working knowledge of Google Data Studio and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
Speak and write fluent English at a professional level
