About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEO Specialist to join Bend. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine optimization techniques, tools, and best practices. This role requires a professional who can develop and implement effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance online visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO strategy & implementation
- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-volume and relevant keywords for our business.
- Optimize website content and organic landing pages.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, to create optimized content.
- Technical SEO
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
- Perform regular technical audits to identify and resolve any issues related to crawlability, site speed, mobile responsiveness, etc.
- Link building & content promotion
- Develop and implement effective link-building strategies.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and promotion.
- Performance analysis
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and specialized SEO software (e.g. Semrush, Screamingfrog).
- Provide regular reports on key SEO metrics, insights, and optimization recommendations.
- Continued education
- Interest in learning about changes to organic search algorithms and strategies.
- Interest in identifying new tools and platforms that can increase the performance of our clients websites.
Examples of Work
- Researching and identifying target keywords for specific content pieces or campaigns.
- Adjusting meta titles, descriptions, header tags, and content to align with targeted keywords.
- Evaluating and improving site structure, URL structure, mobile responsiveness, and page load speeds.
- Reviewing the link profile of our website and identifying opportunities for high-quality link-building.
- Creating monthly or quarterly SEO performance dashboards showcasing organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion metrics.
- Create pages in content management systems to target unique audiences and needs.
- Develop unique strategies and understand the business requirements of multiple clients.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in search engine optimization, including on-page optimization, off-page optimization, technical optimization, and social platform optimization.
- Comfort in complex content management systems, Squarespace and Wordpress a plus.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Understanding of how to utilize Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Google Analytics as they relate to SEO.
- Awareness of generative AI platforms and how they might be utilized to assist with content development and optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret SEO data and insights.
- Comfortable being responsible and accountable for assigned tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
