We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior VoIP Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior VoIP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems. You will play a crucial role in optimizing communication infrastructure, ensuring high-quality voice services, and providing technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy VoIP solutions, including hardware, software, and network components.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex VoIP issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VoIP systems with existing networks and applications.
Implement security measures to safeguard VoIP systems and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular system assessments, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in VoIP.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
Proven experience as a VoIP Engineer with expertise in SIP, RTP, and VoIP protocols.
- Strong proficiency in configuring and managing VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, Cisco, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security, and QoS.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP Collaboration, VoIP certifications) are a plus.
