We are looking for a Senior Visual & Motion Designer to join our Ruca PH team.
We are currently hiring a Visual Designer to join a collaborative and innovative team in a fast-paced environment. The Designer will play a pivotal role in working with Ruca's global teams. This role requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, excellent communication skills in english (both written and verbal), and the ability to build internal/external relationships.
We are looking for a Visual Designer with a deep understanding of visual hierarchy along with information design concepts and apply it to deliverables. Craft interactive visuals inline with the business/ project goal and strike the right balance between business, design and improving the user experience.
We are looking for self-starters who can work in a rapidly changing design industry, tolerate ambiguity, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
Visual Designer responsibilities
- A compelling storyteller through visual designs.
- Create and deliver motion graphics for various media.
- Working with art and creative teams to select audio, video, colors, animation, etc. for graphic design.
- Edit video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
- Staying up to date on the latest graphic design techniques.
- Knowledgeable at available technology, current industry trends, and design best practices.
- Translate client business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging.
- Closely interact with the product team to analyze and understand requirements.
- Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end.
- Make compelling and thoughtful designs considering its usage across multiple channels and devices.
- Articulate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
- Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
- Pays pragmatic attention to detail.
Ideal profile
- Bachelors degree in relevant field
- Prior experience as a Graphic/Visual Designer/Motion Graphic Designer as well as a strong portfolio of sample projects
- Proven experience in visual designing for multiple channels and digital devices
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, Premiere Pro, and/or video editing/animation tools
- Excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
- Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willingness to operate with reasonable flexibility
- Well organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short time
- Highly proactive, enjoys solving problems creatively
- Has a deep understanding of visual design standard, typography, iconography, and colors
- Has a keen eye for design and aesthetics
- Experience with fast-growing companies and/or design agency is a plus
