Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize shaders and visual effects (VFX) for real-time game engines.
- Collaborate with artists and engineers to ensure smooth integration of assets and effects.
- Create dynamic visual effects, particles, and materials that enhance gameplay and user experience.
- Ensure that the technical aspects of visual effects are optimized and meet performance standards.
- Mentor and support the art team on technical challenges and workflow improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry.
- Expertise in shaders, VFX, particle systems, and dynamic visual effects.
- Proficiency in real-time rendering and shader development.
- Experience working with game engines like Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
- Strong understanding of optimization techniques for performance and visuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with rigging, lighting, and procedural generation tools/implementation.
- Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools.
- A solid portfolio showcasing your work in shaders, VFX, and visual effects.
