Initiates and leads monitoring and assessing the Company's overall tax compliance with BIR and LGU requirements.
Prepares tax calculations for monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., Philippine Corporate Income Tax, Value-Added Tax, Withholding Taxes, Documentary Stamp Taxes) and the required attachments thereto subject to review and approval of the Finance Controller.
Spearheads the preparation of other compliance requirements for BIR, LGU and other regulatory agencies such as but not limited to review of tax disclosures in financial statements, annual registrations, e-filings, and other mandatory submissions.
Provides guidance regarding tax topics concerning daily business and projects regarding tax accounting, direct and indirect taxes.
Participates in the internal control function of the Company and contributes to monthly and yearly accounting closing process.
Facilitates reconciliation schedules of tax accounts for periodic tax reporting, statutory / external audits, and tax audits, if any.
Ensures that accounting records and documentary supporting documents comply with BIR substantiation requirements.
Support Finance Controller in monitoring and assessing the Company's overall tax compliance with BIR and LGU requirements.
Leads in the coordination with tax authorities and/or external advisors.
