The Senior Tax Analyst will assist in the US income tax with a focus on federal and state income taxes.
As a key member of this team, you will provide support in the day-to-day operations of the US Tax Team. This position reports to the Director, Taxation in the US and will work closely with financial staff from all the Company's regions. The location of the position is in Manila, Philippines.
Assist with federal income tax returns and supporting workpapers.
- Assist with income tax workpapers for quarterly reporting.
Calculate quarter estimates for federal tax.- Review tax related mail and determine resolution required.
Prepare and record journal entries in Oracle.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
Assist with international tax workpapers for US income tax compliance.- Assist with state and local income tax returns and supporting workpapers.
Working knowledge of US federal, state, and local corporate taxation- Experience with Oracle or other large Enterprise systems would be an asset
Experience with OneSource or other tax compliance software would be an asset
- Intermediate to advance proficiency in Excel
Ability to work independently to company deadlines and to manage multiple competing priorities- Independently organize and prioritize workload to ensure timely completion of deliverables
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
