Senior Tax Accountant - Canada (Dayshift)

WE'RE LOOKING FOR OUR FUTURE FINANCE & ACCOUNTING LEADERS:

Become a pivotal player in our expanding Finance team, where your contributions will drive the daily operations of our overall accounting processes for the key businesses you will support, while actively seeking and leveraging cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence.

This role reports to the Accounting Manager, and is responsible for overall Tax accounting functions for the company's Canadian entity, specifically the following:

• Tax Compliance prepare Canadian tax returns (income tax, GST and liaise with Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) during tax audits
• Internal Control - Maintain documentation of internal accounting processes and controls
• Undertake other assigned duties and projects as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA is a must
• Solid IFRS / GAAP technical knowledge
• At least 2 years professional experience working with distinguished companies for Canada (required) and US- based companies
• Able to work in fast-paced and high transactions volume environment
• Able to multi-task and work under high pressure
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle key stakeholders
• Good problem-solving skills, with proven ability to apply finance knowledge and experience to a diverse range of financial issues
• Proficient in Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
