Senior Systems Engineer (Onsite)

WORKING ONSITE ARRANGEMENT (Office Location: Ayala, Makati City)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide support, implementation, maintenance and reporting for production server

environments and other infrastructure technologies.

Responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure: Physical hosts, VMs, Applications.

Implement and manage features within Active Directory, Exchange, MS-SQL,

SharePoint, Office 365

Automate tasks to improve efficiency, manage the backup and recovery process and

ensure that data and systems are recoverable.

Administer Active Directory and Local Group policies to enforce security requirements

and standards.

Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware,

server resources, systems and key processes.

Level 3 support of desktop operating systems and application software.

Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware products.

Take participation in system engineer projects such as data migration, application and

OS upgrades.

Consult future customers on possible software / hardware implementations.

Requirements:

Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to take initiative and proactively

inform about underlying issues.

Good knowledge of Microsoft stack: Windows OS: 2008(r2)/2012(r2)/2016/2019; AD

(incl GPO), Exchange, SharePoint, MS-SQL, File Server.

TCP/IP and networking configuration/troubleshooting (NAT, ports, DHCP, DNS).

The following experience would be considered as a plus:

VMware ESX(i), Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure Stack HCI, Nutanix.

Office365: Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online (OneDrive), SQL

Azure.

Powershell scripting.

Wireshark (tcpdump).

CentOS / Red Hat (low to mid level).

Veeam Backup and Replication / Veeam ONE.

Block, file, object storage and storage protocols, experience configuring SANs and

Storage.
