Assist the Production Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications. The Senior Supervisor will primarily focus on the Gourmet Section / Line.
Coordinates with other support departments regarding operational matters on a daily basis
- Prepares weekly production schedules based on the order requirements and prepares proper assignments of manpower based on the efficiency and capacity to achieve the desired shift targets
Makes sure there is always enough production staffs of duty to hit targets- Ensures the production team remains focused and motivated and is hitting their efficiency targets versus daily planning
Implements and monitors Operational / Department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Implements Production Variance Controls and provides concrete actions (preventive / corrective actions) to hit the desired or allowable targets
Imposes disciplinary actions in coordination with company standards and policies- Monitors the quality of finished products daily with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products are safe to consumed and ready for dispatch with high quality standards
Preferably with culinary experience (chef, cook, etc)- Exposure / familiarity in volume production (catering, commissary, etc)
Familiary in reports creation - input, output, recovery, etc
