The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and guiding the implementation of both custom-built and commercial IT Software Solutions and Cloud using Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless integration with various systems and applications. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, assessing technology options, and providing direction to development teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement end-to-end solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into practical technical solutions.
- Create and maintain architectural plans, solution designs, and technical documentation.
- Lead system and application integrations, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
- Offer technical leadership and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, and mentor junior architects and engineers.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits on existing solutions to identify areas for enhancement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep solutions at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field
- At least 5 years experience as a Solutions Architect, with a combination of years of experience in software engineering or a related role.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions with a wide range of Microsoft Azure services
- Background in implementing solutions for software applications is a PLUS
- Proficient in various architectural styles, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Experienced in evaluating technology options and performing trade-off analysis for architectural decisions.
- Knowledgeable in implementing security best practices and compliance standards
