Flowmentum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in jQuery, AJAX, and MySQL query tuning. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of front-end development, asynchronous web interactions, and database optimization. This role requires someone who can work independently and collaboratively to enhance our web applications and ensure efficient database performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using jQuery and AJAX for rich, dynamic user experiences.
- Optimize MySQL queries to improve performance and reduce load times.
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code.
- Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Expert-level proficiency in jQuery and AJAX.
- Extensive experience with MySQL, including query tuning and optimization.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with other JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
